Reseller Account Management in RemarkablePanel
How to create and manage reseller and customer accounts in RemarkablePanel: setting resource limits, managing subscriptions, and the reseller hierarchy.
RemarkablePanel supports a multi-tier reseller hierarchy. You (the server admin) create resellers; resellers create customers; customers manage their own websites.
Create a customer account
The customer receives an email invitation to log into their panel. They see only their own websites and data.
Customer plans
Plans define what resources a customer can use. Create plans under Plans → Add Plan:
| Setting | Example |
|---|---|
| Disk space | 10 GB |
| Bandwidth | 100 GB/month |
| Websites | 5 |
| Mailboxes | 20 |
| Databases | 10 |
| Subdomains | 20 |
Assign plans when creating customers or change them later from the customer’s profile.
Reseller accounts
Resellers are accounts that can create their own customers and manage their own client base. They have their own dashboard and panel URL.
Create a reseller
The reseller gets their own admin panel where they can create customers, add websites, and manage email: all within the quota you set.
View and manage customer accounts
Customers → list: shows all customers with disk usage, number of sites, and status.
Click any customer to:
- View their websites and mailboxes
- Modify their plan
- Log into their account (admin override: no password needed)
- Suspend or delete the account
Suspending an account
Suspension disables website access and email sending while preserving all data:
- Customers → click customer → Suspend
- Confirm
The customer’s websites return an error page. Email is blocked. Reactivate by clicking Unsuspend.
Log in as any customer
As admin you can log into any customer’s panel without knowing their password:
- Customers → click customer → Log In
- You’re now in that customer’s panel view
- Click Return to Admin to exit
Usage monitoring
Customers list shows disk usage and bandwidth per account. Click any customer for a detailed breakdown by website.
Set up usage alerts under Settings → Notifications to receive email when accounts approach their quota limits.
