How to Customize Crossbox
How to configure and brand the Crossbox webmail interface on your RemarkableCloud server: custom hostname, logo, and per-user settings.
Crossbox is the webmail and collaboration suite included with RemarkableCloud’s email infrastructure. This guide covers customizing the URL, branding it for resellers, and configuring user settings.
Default access URL
Crossbox is accessible at:
https://office.protectedserver.net
Log in with your full email address and password.
Setting a custom webmail hostname
To serve Crossbox from your own domain (e.g. https://webmail.yourdomain.com):
webmail.yourdomain.com → office.protectedserver.net
White-label branding for resellers
If you’re reselling email hosting, you can replace the Crossbox branding with your own:
- Contact RemarkableCloud support with your:
- Custom webmail URL
- Logo file (PNG, minimum 200×60px)
- Brand colors (hex values)
- We configure the white-label instance on your behalf
Your clients see your brand: not RemarkableCloud or Crossbox.
User settings in Crossbox
Each user can configure their own preferences at Settings (gear icon):
