How Billing Works

RemarkableCloud's calendar-month billing cycle, proration rules, invoice due dates, suspension timeline, and how to manage your payment method.

Billing cycle

All services are billed on a calendar-month cycle, prorated to the 1st of the following month. Whatever day you order, your renewal date aligns to the 1st.

  • Ordering on the 1st through the 23rd: your first invoice covers the days remaining in the current month
  • Ordering after the 23rd: your first invoice covers the remaining days of the current month plus the following full month, so you are not billed again a few days later

Prepaid cycles (for example, 12 months on VPS plans) are charged upfront at the discounted rate, with the first period prorated the same way.

Invoices and due dates

Invoices for all active services are generated on the 1st of each month and delivered by email. You can also view them anytime at manager.remarkablecloud.com.

Every invoice is due within 14 days:

  • 14 days after the invoice date: unpaid services are automatically suspended
  • 30 days after the invoice date: unpaid services are automatically terminated and all data is permanently deleted and non-recoverable

If you are having trouble with a payment, open a ticket before the due date: we would much rather work something out than suspend a service.

Payment methods

We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) via Stripe, and PayPal. Keep your payment details current in the client area to avoid interruptions.

SLA credits

Credits from the 500% SLA are applied automatically to your account and appear on your next invoice. See the SLA page for the credit formula.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancel anytime from the client area. New plans are covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee; see the Terms of Service for full details.
